NetCracker Technology has successfully implemented its OSS solution for Crnogorski Telekom, the Deutsche Telekom Group operating unit based in Montenegro. NetCracker’s OSS Solution, which has been chosen as the DT group OSS standard, will help Crnogorski Telekom to achieve aggressive time-to-market goals for new services, consolidate its legacy OSS to gain efficiencies, and reduce operating and long-term OSS implementation costs.

Crnogorski Telekom (CT) is the biggest telecommunications company in Montenegro. It provides a full range of fixed and mobile telecommunications services (voice, messaging, internet, TV, leased line circuits, data networks and ICT solutions).

On April 1, 2005, Magyar Telekom obtained a 76.53 percent interest in Crnogorski Telekom. Deutsche Telekom AG holds 59.21 percent of the Magyar Telekom shares. Deutsche Telekom and Magyar Telekom have a number of subsidiaries worldwide, with which Crnogorski Telekom has regular transactions.

Deutsche Telekom selected NetCracker to provide its group standard OSS solution as part of its Next Generation Service and Systems Management transformation. NetCracker is now helping Crnogorski to migrate off of its legacy OSS platforms by adopting this standard solution. As a result of consolidated service fulfilment and resource management, Crnogorski Telekom can accelerate time to market, optimize cost structure, and improve service provisioning.
