TP at largeIf you are attending the Mobile World Congress (MWC or #MWC15) in Barcelona next week be sure to catch up with DisruptiveViews own Tony Poulos at one of his many public appearances!

On Tuesday, March 3 at 4 p.m. in Hall 4, Auditorium 2, he will be on a panel of distinguished guests talking about “Enabling M&A for Industry Growth.”

Also on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. he will perform his annual soap-box rant on all that’s good and bad in the telecom and digital worlds, paying particular attention this year to the Internet of Silly Things. This irreverent, comical and sometimes caustic session should draw the same level of hooting and jeering as his last two appearances at Cerillion’s legendary Barcelona Tapas Bar, Txirimiri. The evening will be helped along – not that it needs much help – by a copious amount of local drinks and ‘pintxos’. This is not a night for the meek and mild! Booking essential!

Taking time out from filming all the good bits, on Thursday he is moderating the morning keynote session “Innovation at the Edge of Real and Virtual” starting at 9 am in Hall 4 Auditorium 1. This is shaping up to be ‘up there’ amongst the interesting sessions of the whole event, bringing together eye-opening and inspiring examples of innovation that blur the boundaries between the real and virtual arenas. Sounds more like Mr Poulos’ writing style!
