Interview with Yuval Dvir, Head of EMEA Online Partnerships, Google for Work

Written by on May 20, 2016 in Features with 0 Comments

This is the third year that Yuval Dvir has attended the TM Forum event in Nice. It is not a Google thing, but more a ‘Dvir’ thing. Previously he attended while working at Skype, but this year he spoke about IT transformation from a Google perspective. When everything is connected as we move towards the connected economy, you cannot isolate elements, says Dvir.

Transformation, he says, is almost about implementing buzz words, following trends, and learning. Google is as keen to help innovation as it is to learn and share.

Data now plays into everything. Every company should be a data company, an analytics company.

That said, he is convinced that there should still be a balance between ‘art’ and ‘science’ and it is human ingenuity is using the data that will be the key to innovation.

He also talks about bundling apps, how they work with partners and how they address all levels of businesses with their online partnership programme.
